YMCA of the North Shore will not be offering BOLD & GOLD in the Summer of 2021.
The BOLD & GOLD program inspires courage and multi-cultural leadership in diverse groups of boys and girls in grades 9-12.
Our program focuses on backcountry trips ranging from 1 to 5 days. Most of our trips are run in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with some of our shorter trips happening in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. We strive to facilitate the development of leadership skills, self-confidence, and a taste for adventure on all of our trips. Having our participants actively lead the group with our help and guidance has allowed many of our participants to come home from trips feeling more confident in school, athletics, and other extracurricular activities.
