Camp Carson’s BOLD & GOLD program allows campers to get out and explore the beautiful river gorges of the Midwest.
Our Program takes participants through the beautiful Red River Gorge of east-central Kentucky. Here, they will hike low forested river canyons, over and under sandstone arches and ledges, and through the wild and scenic Red River. During their 5-day expedition they will gain invaluable leadership, communication, and social skills while hiking with all that the need for the week on their backs.

Our trips offer each participant the chance to lead a group of their peers through a leg of their outdoor adventure.
We start as a team
All trips begin and end at YMCA Camp Carson in Princeton, IN. Families will have the opportunity to speak with our trip leaders as the group begins the final pack for their week long adventure.
